Kirby's Kids Holiday Special - The Kids Talk Batman The Killing Joke PART ONE

Happy Holidays Kids! Doc and Angus embrace the madness that is The Joker in Alan Moore's masterpiece Batman: The Killing Joke. This work would go on to influence the direction of The Dark Night in comics and popular culture for the decades that would follow its initial publication in 1988. In PART ONE they introduce the work, dive into a Kirby Kernel, engage in a little Creative Chatter, and go mining for some influential hidden gems in Comics Archeology. In PART TWO they will review the comic book story and the 2016 animated film. This work launched Batman into a whole new realm along with Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns in 1986.
