The material is made available on this website as a way to advance awareness, appreciation of legacy and history related to comic book literacy and understanding of the creative process, among other salient issues. Through context, critical questioning, and discussion framing, Kirby’s Kids website and podcast, therefore, creates a transformative use of copyrighted media.
