From Our Table To Yours, A Family Holiday Recipe:
Charlotte’s Pumpkin Pie
2 to 2 1/2 Cups of Pumpkin Puree or Canned Pumpkin
3/4 tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Cups Sugar
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
3 Eggs slightly beaten
1 Cup Milk
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Mace
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Cloves
1/4 to 1/2 tsp All Spice
3 Tbsp Bourbon
Use a ready made pie crust, dough, or follow a simple pie crust recipe:

Grease pie plate and place pie crust in plate. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and once up to temperature place pie crust in for 10 minutes. Remove pie crust and then reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.
While pie crust is baking for 10 minutes at 450 degrees assemble your pie filling.
To Pumpkin add sugar, butter, spices, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes in pot over medium low heat on stovetop. Remove from heat and add eggs and mix with milk and bourbon. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes.
