We read The Spectre (Issues #2-5) 1967-1968 . These issues don’t make a continual arc however they are strong self-contained stories with stunning Adams' illustrations.

In issue #2 there is a text page titled "Spectre interviews Neal Adams", which is used as a funny introduction of Adams into the art chores of the title.
